The ministry of information, communication and technology will host the inaugural Public Entities' Communication and Public Relations Conference from 12 to 14 March in Katima Mulilo.

"The three-day conference anticipates attracting the attendance of over 100 communication officers from various government offices, ministries, agencies, regional councils, local authorities and public enterprises.

“It aims to serve as a platform for communicators to exchange best practices and insights within the communication space while fostering mutual empowerment,” executive director Audrin Mathe said in a statement.

“Moreover, the conference will delve into assessing governmental communication strategies as well as deliberate on the operationalisation of the Access to Information Act.”

Minister Emma Theofelus will open the event.
