Judges De Jager, Coleman sworn in

Beatrix de Jager was yesterday sworn in as a High Court judge after serving as an acting judge since January. Meanwhile, George Coleman was sworn in as an acting High Court judge, effective 1 July to 9 December.
The two judges were sworn in during a ceremony in Windhoek, led by Judge President Petrus Damaseb.
This after the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) announced on Friday that President Nangolo Mbumba had appointed the two judges.
"We congratulate the judges on their appointments and wish them well in the execution of their duties," a statement by JSC secretary Elias Shikongo read.
