Americans unsuccessful in their application for leave to appeal
Marcus Thomas and Kevan Townsend's application for leave to appeal against their murder convictions and sentences was dismissed this morning in the Windhoek High Court.
The two Americans were found guilty last year of the murder of André Heckmair, who was shot dead in his vehicle in Windhoek in January 2011.
Thomas was sentenced to 30 years in prison and Townsend to 29 years.
