PEOPLE'S CHOICE: An African-American man waits in line with other community members in East Tampa to enter the C. Blythe Andrews, Jr. Public Library at an early voting polling precinct to cast their ballots in local, state and national elections in Tampa, Florida, US on 2 November. Millions of Americans will head to polling booths today to cast their ballots in the 2024 presidential election, in which Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and her Republican rival, Donald Trump, are locked in a tight race. Nearly half of the 50 states in the United States, however, allow on-the-day registration, while citizens can vote without registering in North Dakota. Photo: Reuters
