Karibib builds toilets for street vendors

The Karibib town council has announced the construction for toilets for street vendors.
Local economic development officer Melody Gontes said the town wants to “accommodate and appreciate the street vendors who contribute to our local economy". She further revealed plans for a large structure to provide space for vendors who currently lack adequate place to do business.
"We plan to extend the structure and a boundary wall will soon be constructed to facilitate this development," she said.
The initiative received positive feedback from Karibib community members, with many expressing satisfaction with the town's development efforts.
One resident commented: "That’s what we want. This is the reason we queue up in lines to vote for development”.
