'The Wind Rises from the East': Belt and Road journalists watch unique Chinese documentary

Last month, the Communication University of China hosted a group of foreign journalists attending a workshop for journalists from 'Belt and Road' countries at Youku, China’s own version of YouTube.

A total of 25 journalists from eleven countries were invited to watch, as the first global audience, a documentary series entitled 'The Wind Rises from the East.'

The documentary series, aided by XR and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, presented cultural exchanges, mutual learning, and concrete cooperation brought about by the Belt and Road initiative in a clear and vivid manner. By providing journalists with an immersive experience, the documentary series increased their awareness of the achievements of the first decade of the Belt and Road initiative. Simultaneously, it advocated for continued cooperation with Belt and Road countries in the field of cultural exchanges and communications in the future. Watch the series at the link below:
