#NamSunNews Secret meet?
Youth Minister Agnes Tjongarero denies organising a clandestine Rehoboth meeting to oust National Youth Council (NYC) Chair Sharonice Busch.
Tjongarero recently directed Busch to revoke Calista Schwartz-Gowases was part of this afternoon’s secret meeting.
“I really don’t understand why my meeting is clandestine and why it has anything to do with Sharonice. Yes, I was in Rehoboth for something else and afterwards went to a restaurant for a meal. I met her there, but does it mean I cannot talk to her because I am the minister?” Tjongarero said.
Schwartz-Gowases was suspended recently after an NYC representative council meeting at Ondangwa was called off as a result of infighting among delegates, including a near physical confrontation between her and Vakamuina Kamutuezu, a representative of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM).
The pair quarrelled after Schwartz-Gowases allegedly failed to provide minutes of the previous meeting.
