City of Windhoek to host public meetings

The Windhoek municipality recently announced the schedule for a series of upcoming public meetings. According to City officials, these meetings provide an opportunity to inform residents about the municipality's programmes and activities and gather input on projects. The schedule indicates public meetings will take place in September and October, all starting at 14:00. The first will take place on Saturday, 9 September at the community hall in the Moses Garoab and Tobias Heinyeko constituencies and simultaneously at the open area on Green Mountain Street for the Samora Machel constituency. On Sunday, Samora Machel residents can also attend the Havana playgrounds along Eneas Peter Nanyemba and Uutapi streets, while Tobias Heinyeko residents can visit the open area at the corner of Ongete and Ongava streets to receive information.
