Aminuis Racing proud
Aminuis Horse-Racing Club has lauded all horse owners and Debmarine Namibia.
This after the horse racing club hosted an event in Gobabis over the weekend, which they deemed a success.
“I would like to thank Debmarine Namibia for making this event possible with an N$250 000 sponsorship. We do appreciate the effort from all the horse owners who came in numbers.
“We would also like to thank the spectators who came in their numbers to support horse racing,” Edison Tjiramba of the Aminuis Horse-Racing Club remarked.
French Leave of Aminuis Racing won the main race of the event after finishing ahead of Crystal Stream (Mouton Racing) and Portkey (Genius Racing) in the 2 200-metre event.
The day saw a number of horses competing for top honours, with Mboma, Lady Diamond and Honest Illusion also collecting wins.
The plates included: Nambred Graduation, Nambred Maiden A and B, Import Maiden, Import Graduation, Nambred D-Division, Nambred Open, Import Open, Nambred Maiden, Import Maiden, Nambred Graduation, Import Graduation, Nambred D-Division, Import D-Division and the Import Open.
“As a horse-racing club, we can only plan for bigger events and this one was one of them.
“The horses were in good condition, which was pleasing to see during these difficult financial times,” Tjiramba added.
