'No leadership collapse' at NUST
NEWS IN SHORT
Higher education minister Itah Kandji-Murangi says there is no sign of a “leadership collapse” at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) in response to questions posed by member of parliament Maximilliant Katjimune.
“As far as I know, there was no collapse in the leadership at NUST. Therefore, it is irresponsible and immature for anyone, particularly one who has walked the corridors of our well-run universities, to allege a collapse in leadership when there was none,” Kandji-Murangi said.
“I admit that there were several issues of concern at NUST that surfaced in the media a few months back. The council has worked hard to attend to what they deemed critical to look at. I am happy to say that normalcy has returned to NUST,” she said.
