JUST IN: NSFAF extends application deadline
The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) has announced that the deadline for online applications has been extended to 10 February.
The original period was from 1 December to 31 January.
The chief executive of NSFAF, Kennedy Kandume, encouraged candidates to apply for financial assistance early to avoid overloading the fund’s application system.
“We extended the application period because our system was overloaded towards the end and couldn’t keep up with the demand.
“During December and the first two weeks of January, applications were slow. But during the last two weeks, and especially the last two days, there was severe pressure on our system due to the amount of applications we had to process,” he said.
