Desperate parents turned away from school hostel

Parents seeking hostel placement for their children at Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Secondary School in Ondangwa were turned away yesterday.
The hostel, built to house 864 learners, can currently only accommodate 720, principal Warde Shapaka said.
As there are only 720 beds available and each child occupies one bed, the hostel cannot accept more learners, the administrator explained.
