TRIP OF A LIFETIME: African delegates attending a public lecture on Tuesday at Peking University, considered the 'Havard of China'. The youth also engaged in talks with high-ranking Chinese officials on Tuesday, where Sino-African relations were discussed at length. The delegation is in China to attend the 8th edition of the Africa-China Youth Festival.

The week-long event kicked off on 20 May in Beijing.

Young representatives from 52 African member countries, including Namibia, were invited to experience traditional Chinese culture, engage with Chinese government departments, share experiences in business development, participate in China-Africa youth dialogues, visit historical and cultural sites and launch the 'What Can I Do for China-Africa Friendship' initiative during the weeklong event in Beijing and East China's Zhejiang Province.
