Ehao expo scheduled for next month
News in short
The third edition of the Ehao Cultural Expo is expected to take place next month, and is going to be bigger and better, organisers said.
For this year’s edition, the Okahao Town Council raised close to N$800 000 in pledges during a fundraising event held last Friday. The expo will take place from 22 to 28 July under the theme ‘Embracing business activities through culture and innovation’
Speaking during fundraising event, Vice-President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said the expo allows for cultural diversity to be showcased while creating a platform for the exchange of ideas among entrepreneurs. “It is an occasion where tradition meets innovation, and where the past and future converge to create a brighter tomorrow for Okahao and beyond. The expo provides a unique opportunity for businesses, artisans and entrepreneurs to display their products and forge meaningful partnerships that can propel the local economy to new heights," she said.
