Woman bitten on lip, back during fight

A 38-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after another woman bit her upper lip and her back at Uuyoka village in the Oshikoto Region’s Onayena constituency.
According to the Namibian Police, the suspect - whose age is unknown - is also a resident of that village and has not been arrested yet.
Chief Inspector Ellen Nehale of the community policing sub-division said it remains unclear what led to the violent altercation. Investigations continue.
In a separate incident, a man assaulted his elderly mother on Monday at Onathinge South village.
A case of common assault and domestic violence was registered at the Onayena police station.
The suspect allegedly twisted his 66-year-old mother's arm, causing her pain and trauma.
The suspect and the victim live in the same house. The man has yet to be arrested. Investigations continue.
