Club stabbing severely injures one
A popular Windhoek hangout spot turned into a crime scene over the weekend.
A 49-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a popular car wash in Windhoek on Saturday afternoon.
Brave Tjizera Kavari was stabbed to the left side of his neck and reportedly died instantly.
No arrests have been made, and the motive behind the stabbing remains unknown.
Namibian Police spokesperson, chief inspector Elifas Kuwinga, confirmed the incident.
"The suspect is unknown, and police are actively investigating to bring the suspect to justice,” he said.
Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man was severely injured when he was stabbed at a club in Mupini village in the Kavango West Region.
The victim sustained a serious open cut to his stomach and was taken to the Rundu State Hospital. After undergoing surgery, he is reported to be in a stable condition.
Police successfully apprehended a 27-year-old man believed to be responsible for the stabbing.
However, the motive behind the attack remains unknown. Police investigations continue.
