Police in Walvis Bay are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing person, Benjamin Johannes, a 24-year-old Namibian male who was last seen on Saturday, 17 August, leaving his home at Malgas Street, House No. 2631, in Kuisebmund.

According to his father, Johannes had an argument with a cousin at around 18:00 that evening. After the altercation, his father gave him money and suggested he return to the north, even offering transportation to the bus terminal, which Johannes declined. He then packed his belongings and left the house.

On Monday, 19 August, Johannes' father contacted the man's mother, who lives in the north, to confirm his arrival, but she reported that he had not returned home.

Johannes is of average height, speaks English and Oshiwambo, and has a scar above his left eyebrow.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Inspector Mansie Amamub at 0817638188 or report to the nearest police station.
