Man (19) allegedly rapes aunt in Omusati

Police in Omusati have arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly raping his 51-year-old aunt at Uukwalumbe village in Okahao constituency on Monday.

According to a police report, the suspect, who was drunk, allegedly dragged the victim from Ondonzi location, forcefully undressed her and raped her. He then used a knife to cut her private parts, causing severe injuries. The suspect has been arrested and charged with rape and attempted murder. He was scheduled to appear in the Okahao Magistrate's Court yesterday.
