JUST IN: Two arrested on Gibeon farm for dagga
Two men were arrested yesterday at Farm Mariko in the Gibeon area for being in the possession of cannabis to the value of more than N$47 000.
According to the police, a 40-year-old man was arrested at the farm when he was found with twelve full parcels of pure cannabis, one quarter of cannabis weighing 3 410 g and loose skunk cannabis weighing 220 g, both valued at N$45 100.
It is alleged that the suspect hid the cannabis in a 20-litre bucket container underground. The police had to dig to retrieve the substances.
A 58-year-old man was also arrested at the farm for being in the possession of a parcel of pure cannibals, weighing 255 g and valued at N$2 550.
