The Steampunk Factory and Lounge Bar, located in Prosperita, not only shares with guests the best in whisky and other drinks but provides a platform for local musicians to strut their stuff.

The concept of steampunk is a subculture and genre of science fiction and fantasy that draws inspiration from 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery and Victorian-era fashion, resulting in a visually stunning aesthetic that served as the perfect backdrop for Friday night’s festivities.

The Steampunk Lounge boasts a theme filled with steel, bronze, chrome and leather furniture, fittings and artwork. All of these items are manufactured in the Steampunk Factory located next to the lounge. Guests can lounge in comfort on plush leather couches or upholstered chairs while enjoying perfectly poured drinks. The unique aesthetic of the lounge creates a one-of-a-kind atmosphere perfect for relaxation and indulgence.

The lounge bar is the ultimate destination for whisky enthusiasts with the widest range of this tipple in town, including rare travel exclusives. They also offer a diverse selection of Irish, American, and Canadian Whisky, and a wide variety of Tennessee Whisky and Bourbon.

The Steampunk Factory and Lounge, a cherished family-owned establishment, not only captivates with its ambience and music but also tantalises the taste buds with its culinary offerings.

Guests can indulge in a variety of delectable dishes, including mouth-watering spaghetti bolognese and sumptuous chicken and beef lasagna. These culinary delights added yet another layer to the immersive experience, ensuring that every aspect of the evening was nothing short of extraordinary.

Owner Gerhard Mohrmann spoke passionately about the venue’s commitment to offering a truly unique experience, from its meticulously crafted steampunk decor to its impressive selection of themed liquor bottles. “We want to create a space where people can escape the ordinary,” Mohrmann explained. “Whether you’re here for the music, the atmosphere or the craftsmanship, there’s something here for everyone.”
