MVA campaign heads to Kunene
News in short
The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund has announced a week-long road safety initiative in the Kunene Region. Having kicked off on Wednesday, 6 March, the campaign is set to run until Tuesday, 12 March, and aims to increase road safety awareness in the region while educating the public about the fund's mandate, benefits and claims process.
"The team will be accompanied by case coordinators who will assist with the registration of new claims, respond to claim inquiries and advise on the claim status of clients in the region.
“To ensure everyone is assisted, the team comprises employees who speak the local language in the region," the fund said in a statement.
MVA Fund CEO Rosalia Martins-Hausiku highlighted that Kunene has been identified as an area generating a significant number of incomplete claims, which causes delays in claim finalisation and payment.
She further noted that these challenges were identified during routine administration and verification.
