INDIAN AMBASSADOR BIDS FAREWELL: The Indian ambassador to Namibia, Mandarapu Subbarayudu, bid a heartfelt farewell to the country in a gathering that saw members of the diplomatic corps and the local Indian community convene at his residence on Tuesday evening. After an 18-month tenure, the ambassador is retiring, leaving behind a legacy of strengthened bilateral ties and a notable increase in trade between India and Namibia.
During his farewell address, the ambassador highlighted one of his proudest achievements: an impressive 816% increase in bilateral trade over the past 12 months. He attributed this success to concerted efforts and mutual cooperation aimed at boosting economic exchanges between the two nations.
