Returning to Angola in 2020, Ney Chiqui dove into the realm of freestyle, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career. His recent offering, ‘Filho do povo’ featuring Button Rose and Teo No Beat, has garnered about 250 000 views on YouTube. Filmed in Namibia by Reggie Film, the video is a testament to Ney’s growing influence and the positive reception of his work. “I am really thankful for the positive response this song is receiving,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2024, Ney Chiqui is poised to take his career to new heights with the release of an eagerly anticipated album. This forthcoming collection of 12 tracks is intended for each song to be accompanied by its own music video.
