Kosmos 94.1 now available in SA, Lesotho

STAFF REPORTER
As of yesterday, 14 February, Kosmos 94.1 is now available in South Africa and Lesotho on DStv and GOtv audio platforms.

MultiChoice Namibia is a firm believer in showcasing Namibia’s rich and diverse culture and languages with the world through platforms – taking Namibia to the world. Kosmos 94.1 is one of Namibia’s leading radio stations that primarily broadcasts in Afrikaans. With a focus on lively music, refreshing news and entertainment that caters to the whole family, the station is determined to present the best in Namibian content for new and old listeners.

“As Africa’s most-loved storyteller, we are always looking for opportunities to offer a world of more to our Namibians, whether locally or to those outside of our borders,” MultiChoice Namibia managing director, Roger Gertze, said.

“Kosmos 94.1 will surely expose Namibian arts, education, sports and other entertainment aspects to Afrikaans listeners in South Africa and Lesotho through our platforms.”

Because channels such as Kosmos operate on a high-band frequency, MultiChoice encourages customers to ensure their decoders and installations are updated. This means older decoders or non-compatible installations may not broadcast the channel.

"Kindly ensure you reboot your decoder by turning off the power supply and allowing a 15-minute rescan if your decoder is up-to-date. Alternatively, if you have a newer HD decoder and still cannot access new channels such as Kosmos 94.1, please contact the nearest MultiChoice branch, agency or accredited installer to ensure you are compliant."
