Rainbow – Etjo

One half of the dynamic Ethnix Namibia duo, Etjo, steps into the spotlight with her solo release, ‘Rainbow.’ Known for her angelic voice, Etjo showcases her vocal prowess while celebrating the richness of the Otjiherero language. The song's understated yet visually appealing music video perfectly complements the emotive tone of the track, offering a heartwarming listening and viewing experience.

Tunga – King Elegant

Blending modern drill beats with cultural depth, King Elegant’s ‘Tunga’ draws inspiration from Bayete and Jabu Khanyile’s iconic ‘Mmalo We.’ The black-and-white visuals amplify the song’s cultural essence, emphasizing its authenticity. ‘Tunga’ is a testament to King Elegant’s versatility and profound musical knowledge, positioning it as a potential breakout hit of 2025 with the right push.

They Wanna Do – TopCheri ft. Exit

TopCheri and Exit bring the heat with ‘They Wanna Do’ a reggae-dancehall anthem that has been making waves since its release at the end of last year. Complemented by a visually striking music video shot by Spectrum and conceptualized by Mepani M., the production stands out with a poignant ending that carries a powerful message: “Crime does not pay.” The song’s infectious rhythm paired with its thought-provoking undertone has left a lasting impression on fans.

Cheek II Cheek – Gazza ft. Azmo S.T., Nally, and Zonesh

A true summer anthem, ‘Cheek II Cheek’ sees Namibian music icon Gazza collaborating with the new generation of artists, including Azmo S.T., Nally, and Zonesh. This Amapiano hit solidifies Gazza’s ability to stay relevant while exploring contemporary sounds. The song is a seamless blend of old-school charm and new-school energy, making it a must-have on every playlist this season.
