Fashion Week panel discussion to address accessibility, retailing
DIALOGUE: As part of the ninth edition of the MTC Windhoek Fashion Week, a dedicated panel discussion on ‘Accessibility and Retailing’ will take place on Saturday, 9 November, at the City of Windhoek.
According to a press release by the organisers, the discussion aims to open up new perspectives and pathways to retail accessibility for local talent.
The expert panel includes industry leaders from various sectors: Ester Shiningayamwe of August 26 Manufacturing, Katrina Amupolo from the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), renowned lawyer Henry Shimutwikeni, South African retail fashion buyer Trevor Ntombela, and Zambian PR expert Chishimba Nyambe. “Together, they will dive into the unique challenges faced by Namibian designers and explore viable strategies to improve accessibility to retail channels both locally and regionally,” reads the statement.
