tjil presents a summary of outstanding moves on the entertainment scene over the last weekend.

Season five of ‘Voice of Namibia’ - a platform that hosts an annual singing competition to discover and support new talent - took place on Saturday, 13 November, in Windhoek, with John-Raymond Cupido emerging as the winner.

He walked away with a whopping N$10 000, and was followed by Lize Visser and Mike Nghituwama in second and third place respectively.

In other news, Miss Namibia second runner-up Diana Andimba (23) jetted to Manila, Philippines, last Friday to represent the country at the Miss Earth 2022 competition, set to take place on Tuesday, 29 November.

In music news, self-proclaimed king of summer Sunny Boy released a new song titled ‘Summer We Hammer’. Produced by Mr Glo, the track is available on major streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and more.
