Former professional road cyclist and two-time Namibian Olympian, Dan Craven, is bringing his award-winning bicycle brand, Onguza, to Windhoek for a unique pop-up shop at the Bellhaus Atelier & Gallery from Thursday, 12 October to Sunday, the 22 October. The shop will showcase the brand's world-class bicycles, handcrafted in Omaruru.

This groundbreaking initiative represents a significant step for Bellhaus and aligns with the gallery's overarching mission to nurture and cater to creative talents. While the focus traditionally centred around hosting exhibitions, the gallery is now expanding its horizons to also serve as a studio dedicated to spotlighting forward-thinking entrepreneurs and artisans channelling their creative energy to create unique objects and experiences.

The Onguza pop-up shop will also offer various events over the ten-day period, including an opening party on Thursday, 12 October, as well as several morning coffee rides with Dan Craven. During the week, Onguza's creative director, Collyn Ahart, will host a workshop with the theme 'From Omaruru to the World: How to Build a World-Famous Brand from the Namibian Desert' for entrepreneurs, students, designers and other creatives.

Visit the Facebook page of Bellhaus Atelier & Gallery to stay updated on all the events on the exciting calendar surrounding this joint initiative.
