Billionaire Sound, Freeda drop hot joint album

Billionaire Sound - real name Loneson Mondo - and his wife Freeda, former Gal Level member, are proving to be a show-biz power couple with the recent release of their joint album, 'The Black Budget'.

In an interview with tjil, the couple shared that the album's release came as a surprise to many, but they are grateful for the positive feedback the album is enjoying.

They mentioned that they intentionally set out to create an album that would resonate with the masses.

“To achieve this, we cleverly weaved an eclectic mix of genres into the album, ensuring a diverse and captivating musical experience for listeners of all backgrounds,” Billionaire Sound said.

At the heart of their musical venture is Billionaire Sound Studios, an emblem of their commitment to excellence in music production.

All the songs were recorded and released under this umbrella, they added.

Renowned producer Elvo, too, lent his expertise to the project, mastering one of the album's standout tracks, 'Sunday to Sunday', and contributing his magic to other songs as well.

Boundless passion

Beyond the studio, the couple's creative process is a testament to their boundless passion for music.

“We love music, so creating comes naturally to us. The ‘Mashed Up’ video, for instance, that stars our son Michael started off as a joke, but we ended up doing an official video for that, and that has been the process for many of our creative collaborations as a family,” Freeda said.

The couple also announced that they plan to produce music videos for each track on the album. This artistic vision promises to complement the album, which boasts 10 tracks.

In the wake of the project's success, Billionaire Sound and Freeda have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their supporters, maintaining that their shared love for music has been the driving force behind their creative endeavours, and this powerful connection is vividly evident in each note of their harmonious compositions.

To demonstrate this gratitude, the couple are gearing up to serve fans with the prospect of a bonus song, which they said is testament to their unwavering commitment to delivering joy and entertainment through their music.

‘The Black Budget’ is available on Buddie Beats and YouTube.
