Jayn described their recently-held make-up masterclass as a dazzling celebration of artistry and expertise.
“For me, it served as a heartfelt tribute to my devoted clientele. An astonishing 80% of the participants were loyal patrons, eager to glean wisdom from me.”
Jayn expressed profound gratitude to those who believed in them, affectionately referring to themselves as a ‘Fairy Glam Mother’.
Transitioning to empowerment
For those not in the know, Jay Aeron is transitioning, and with this transition comes a new name and they/them pronouns.
Jayn said their transition signifies a profound milestone in their personal journey. They passionately shared their quest to heal the childhood scars of growing up as a transgender individual in a conservative small town.
This transition is an assertion of their unapologetic power and authenticity, they said.
Crucially, Jayn underscored that their transformation would not diminish the legacy of the By Jay Aeron brand but will, in fact, enhance it.
Their vision includes diversifying the brand to encompass a plethora of products, tools and make-up services. They aspire to be a beacon of hope and inspiration to those who identify as transgender or queer.
Future projects
Asked what the future holds, Jayn provided a glimpse into their upcoming endeavours, such as the launch of the By Jay Aeron make-up brush set in October.
Moreover, they are venturing into hairstyling, capitalising on their remarkable acumen.
Meanwhile, Jayn will also introduce ‘By Jayn Aerrands’, an errand service designed to assist clients in selecting the perfect make-up shades and curating skincare products.
They also have plans to expand their footprint with more make-up seminars and classes, aiming to reach various regions across the country.
