Around 254 game will be auctioned this weekend, on 14 and 15 April, during the Kalkfeld Agri Mega Day. This includes rarer game species such as two rhinos, Damara dik-diks, alpacas, bushbucks, sable antelope as well as black wildebeest.

During the agricultural day, which takes place on the farm Klein Otjikango Ost on the road between Outjo and Kalkfeld, there will also be a horse endurance ride, a family day and an exhibition of livestock, exhibitions and demonstrations.

This is one of many agricultural days that are being presented in Namibia until the end of May. On 4 May, there is a fun day with horses at the Grootfontein Showgrounds. Show riding lessons and preparations as well as lessons in farm sports are on the programme, while there will be a potjie food competition, cash bar and fun activities for children.

On 12 May at 11:00, the popular Hartebeestloop auction takes place in the Stampriet area, while the Grootfontein Show Association presents the AgriXtra agricultural day between from 24 to 26 May.
