MTC announces tech bazaar

MTC this week announced that it will collaborate with Inclusive and Collaborative Local Tech Innovation Hub (ICTechHub) and the Namibia University of Science and Technology’s High-Tech Transfer Plaza Select (NUST HTTPS) to host the MTC Tech Innovation Bazaar.
The event, set to be held under the theme ‘digital inclusivity through innovation’, is scheduled to take place in Windhoek from 15 to 17 November.
Nawa Likando, MTC’s head of digital transformation and innovation, said the telecommunication giant believes “in the power of innovation to drive positive change”.
“The MTC Tech Innovation Bazaar is testament to our commitment to fostering a culture of digital inclusivity. By collaborating with the ICTechHub and NUST, we are creating a platform where ground-breaking ideas can thrive and contribute to the advancement of technology in Namibia and beyond."
The event will showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovations that have the potential to revolutionise various industries, with a specific focus on enhancing digital inclusivity, the company said.
By bringing together a diverse range of participants, it aims to incubate and absorb their ideas into the market.
Innovators will have the opportunity to present their projects and ideas to potential investors, opening doors for funding and support that can drive their innovations to fruition.
