Nine out of ten – Cohen takes the lot
Fistball
The Bank Windhoek national fistball league tournament was hosted at Cohen Fistball Club on Saturday.
In the end it was quite clear what the host team offered to spectators in the A division.
The club from Olympia served up a three sets to one win over their neighbours Sportklub Windhoek (SKW).
Although SKW’s green-and-whites had served with commitment against basically the national team, the well-prepared Cohen outfit allowed only a few mistakes, which brought them their ninth FAN Cup title in ten years.
Cohen had previously also won the FAN championship two weeks ago.
A new president, Oliver Ahrens, was elected at the Fistball Assocation of Namibia (FAN)’s annual general meeting on Friday.
