Chippa United forward Elmo Kambindu hopes for an injury free year.
The Namibian striker has often been formidable for his club when on top form, but his career in South Africa has also been plagued by injury on several occasions.
This has led to him losing a place in the Brave Warriors squad that has left to compete at the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The striker however has no regrets and hopes to become better.
“This year the focus will be on some key things like injury prevention and scoring goals,” Kambindu said.
The player acknowledged that he missed important games due to injuries and wants to make up for that.
He continues hoping to make an impression.
“This year I want to focus more on myself and my Club footbalI.
“I want to be better than last year. I’ve missed some important games at my club due to injuries,” Kambindu reiterated.
