JUST IN: Police recruits to report for training

The Namibia Correctional Services released the names of 245 candidates who were successful from a shortlist of about 15 000 applicants. These candidates must report to the Lucius Mahoto Correctional Service Training College at Omaruru on 27 and 28 February 2023 for six-months' basic training. Candidates must bring their identity documents, a good standing certificate not older than 6 months, and sportswear appropriate for training. The use of cellphones during training is not permitted and must be handed in at the office. They may also not bring any large luggage items. They must also bring along a dust cloth and black shoe polish.
